I like a lot about the remasters, but they get very much let down by a few things.

There are a few voice actors and character designs that I really dislike. Largo LaGrande comes to mind for both.

But the worst of it is the actual gameplay. Having to tap two buttons to bring up the inventory and verbs is very clunky, especially for some puzzles that need speed like the grog juggling, and LeChuck boss fights.
