The Big Tree was a mysterious giant tree found in the north of Booty Island, which hosted an empty treehouse. Some people had build a shack nearby as well as a couple of treehouses and an observatory on its top, as well as a series of steps to access its top. It was abandoned and only a seagull made its nest there with stolen map pieces it salvaged.
When Guybrush Threepwood firstly attempts to climb the tree, he falls and hits his head and has a dream with his parents.

- No explanation or backstory is given about the purpose of the Big Tree. It seems however that it belonged to some hermit(s) or castaway(s); it serves as yet another Disney homage, as the treehouses are extremely reminiscent of the Swiss Family Robinson home.
