Boybrush James Threepwood was the son of Guybrush Threepwood and Elaine Marley. Boybrush would often re-enact his father's adventures with his friend Chuckie in the Big Whoop Amusement Park.
At a point in time, Boybrush was told a tale of Guybrush's adventures.

- Boybrush's name was revealed in the subtitles.
- Boybrush stated that he would never want to be a ship swabbie when seeing the mess in the Scurvydog Shack. This foreshadows Guybrush's unfortunate role later in the game.
