Bugeye is a character in Tales of Monkey Island. He is a member of the Democratically United Brotherhood of the Manatee Interior, and was formerly a crewmember for Coronado De Cava's ship.
He is known for being good at a Face Off.

Bugeye, Noogie, Moose and a living Santiago worked for Coronado De Cava as crewmen on The Howler Monkey, during their captain's quest to find La Sponja grande. As part of the directions to the sponge they ended up being swallowed by a manatee that was on his way to the manatee Mating Grounds. Unfortunately for Coronado, one of the Manatee's cochlear was defective, and so could not navigate its way to the mating grounds. Both Bugeye and the rest of the crew grew tired of Coronado's order and went to the stomach. There, they became the Democratically United Brotherhood of the Manatee Interior, in contrast their former crew life under Coronado and lived every day partying in the manatee's belly.
Personality[]
In contrast to the more friendly members of the brotherhood, Bug Eye has been shown to be more aggressive towards Guybrush Threepwood. He was the most reluctant to give Guybrish is vote, even after winning against him in a Face Off fair and square. Even after voting Gubrush in, he was still suspicious, and left a skull of one of the mythical sea creatures in his bed on The Screaming Narwhal. He was able to put aside his animosity and join forces with Coronado De Cava, after Guybrush betrayed them.
During his time in the manate, he was shown to use one of the manatee's tonsils as a punching bag.
