Coronado De Cava is a Mighty Explorer and the former lover of the Voodoo Lady. He went on a quest long ago to gain La Esponja Grande as a symbol of his love, but an unexpected detour put a wrench in these plans.

Long before he went missing, Coronado was deeply in love with the Voodoo Lady. Wanting to prove his worth, he went on an expedition to find the legendary La Esponja Grande. While searching for its location, he set up a make-shift shack on Roe Island, where he drew up designs for underwater vehicles and wrote love poems about the Voodoo Lady. With his crew, Bugeye, Moose, Santino, and Noogie, De Cava set off in the Howler Monkey. They were then swallowed up by a manatee on the way to the Manatee mating ground, and have been inside for a time until Guybrush Threepwood released them.
Personality[]
Coronado has been shown to be really paranoid and rather controlling. He was shown to be jealous when Guybrush handed him the Voodoo Lady's locket, believing that the pirate was after his love's heart. He was still not satisfied with the story of Guybrush being married to Morgan LeFlay and quizzed them on certain topics.
He was known to keep records of his crew, which bizarrely even detailed their underwear.
