The Extra Strong Magnetic Compass was a free gift from Stan's Previously-Owned Vessels for all new potential customers. It had a picture of Stan on it and always pointed to the store, so that buyers would know where to find a good deal.

It read:

"When you set sail for good value, all winds blow towards Stan's!" (WARNING: Contains strong magnet which may interfere with other navigational equipment.)"
