Hugo was once a pirate, but was de-piratetised due to Ozzie Mandrills influence.
He then took a job as a perfume salesman on Lucre Island near the Cane Shop. Despite being happy with his line of work he admit that he misses the adventure, the grog and the blood of his enemies.
