Miss Rivers is the teacher at the Pirate Rehabilitation School at Knuttin Atoll. She had a keen sense of discipline and hoped to remove all sense of piracy from an individual. Students that misbehaved were forced to surrender all their belongings to her. She had little patience with poor pupils, in particular Guybrush Threepwood, who was forced to attend her class. If Guybrush were to fail her class, she would give him a Dunce Hat. She will evacuate the premises when Guybrush pulls the fire alarm which for some reason is located OUTSIDE ). Guybrushcan then enter the school to retrieve his confiscated goods, but only for a limited amount of time before she re-enters the building.
