Trivia[]

  • The Floppy disk is labelled "Disk 22", which was a running gag in the original version of the Secret of Monkey Island, where the game asks the player to insert "Disk 22" when clicking Look At on the Stump while in the Fork at Melee Island.
  • Each of the game posters feature an additional picture on the back, most of which is taken from concept art for LeChuck's Revenge, starting from the first game to Tales: Booty Island Map, Phatt Island Map, Scabb Island, an image taken from an Escape from Monkey Island advert featuring Guybrush with his shadow being in the shape of a monkey (parodying a poster for Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace), and map of the Tunnels Under Dinky Island area in Monkey Island 2.
    • In the reversed image of Tales of Monkey Island, although it wasn't seen in game, behind the back of the first room, had a room containing treasure that the player is unable to see or reach.
  • The Book contains interviews with the creative staff, including Ron Gilbert, as well as the voice of the Guybrush Threepwood, Dominic Armato
  • On the side of the box, Escape from Monkey Island is placed between LeChuck's Revenge and The Curse of Monkey Island, despite taking place after the latter.
  • The version of Chapter One of Tales included on the USB and two CDs is based on the digital release rather than the version included on the 2010 DVD that redubbed Adam Harrington's performance as LuChuck with [[Earl Boen]].
