Monkey Island is an adventure game series developed by LucasArts.
It currently stands at six games:

- The Curse of Monkey Island (Monkey Island 3)
- Escape From Monkey Island (Monkey Island 4)
- Tales of Monkey Island (Monkey Island 5)
- Return to Monkey Island (Monkey Island 6)
It follows the adventures of Guybrush Threepwood as he struggles to become the most notorious pirate in the entire Caribbean and to win the heart of the beautiful Governor Elaine Marley.
Attempting to thwart his ambitions however, is the fearsome undead pirate captain LeChuck, as he himself moves to win the heart of the Governor and in some instances even tries to force her to marry him. His attempts usually end in failure.
