The Cook on Booty Island was the chef who worked in the kitchens at Elaine Marleys mansion.
He was responsible for making food for the Mardi-gras party. The cook is very protective of his kitchen, not allowing anyone inside.
During the Quest for Big Whoop[]
Guybrush Threepwood encountered him through a back door to the mansion. Threepwood lured him out by rattling a bin. It greatly incensed the chef, prompting him to chase after him wielding a meat cleaver.
It is possible that this event and the stress of the party prompted him to resign from Marley's service, as mentioned by the Voodoo Lady in Curse of Monkey Island.
