Pongo was a monkey who was formerly an assistent to the blind man, Deadeye Dave, in running the Palace of Prosthesis. He ran away some time before Guybrush Threepwood arrives on Lucre Island. Pongo was involved in the contraption used to store the details of shop's customers. The monkey is never found and was the only thing that knew how to run Deadeye Dave's File-O-Matic system
