The portrait of Baron C. Lambert Chowder-Goodsoup.
Acquisition[]
After Guybrush Threepwood knocks down the portrait of Lambert Goodsoup, then he can collect the nail and the portrait.
Usage[]
When using the scissors, he cuts out the face.
The portrait can be stuck on the door with the porthole, leading to a locker room. After the face is cut out, when Guybrush looks through the porthole, he will appear as he is Lambert, persuading Griswold that he is member of the Goodsoup family.
The face is used on the mirror frame of Griswold Goodsoup to cover the stealing of the mirror.
Note: Guybrush can cut the face either while the portrait is still in his inventory, or after he has put the portrait on the door. In that case, the cutting animation will be shown.
Note: In some versions of the game, the portrait cannot be interacted with, this thus requires a different strategy mentioned here[1].
Once you have the Goodsoup Family History book (from the skeleton on the bed) you:
i) Talk to Goodsoup (behind the bar)
ii) Say: "I thought if I died..."
iii) THEN say: "Uncle Grisworld! It's me!.."
iv) Repoond with anything to the next question
v) Then say: "I could talk about the Goodsoup history all day"
vi) Now die again and huzzah ! Goodsoup Family Crypt
