Pyrite Parrot was metallic skeleton parrot that was an artificial construct. It had the ability to mimic and repeat words like a real parrot could. It was originally in the voodoo ladies posession, but was thrown out after Guybrush Threepwood made the parrot mimic him.

Guybrush sees the parrot on a perch inside of the Voodoo Lady's shack on Flotsam Island. The Voodoo Lady has been trying to train it, but was unfortunately ruined when Guybrush made it mimic his introduction.

Personality[]
Being an inanimate object, it did not give any signs of being self aware, only repeating "It's me, Guybrush Threepwood, mighty pirate". It essentially acted as an inanimate toy which mimicked the voice. As such, it did not do anything whilst it was melted down. It was still able to repeat Guybrush's introduction speech despite being melted down and moulded into a turtle.
