The Sword-Head Ghost was one of LeChuck's Ghost Pirate Crew. He was stationed to guard the main street during LeChuck's attempted wedding to Elaine Marley.
He attempted to prevent Guybrush Threepwood from getting to the church, but was destroyed when sprayed with the ghost zapping formula.

- Guybrush can avoid this confrontation completely by entering the door in the building he passes as he arrives from the dock and re-emerging behind the ghost.
